Ok, so this won't answer all
your questions, but it's a start.

1.
Add all classes to the Grade Book

Go to Edit Gradebook and click on
Add
·
Click on one class period

2.
Add students
·
Check to make sure the right students are in the class and
then choose Add Student from the drop down menu next to their name
·
Make sure to submit after each class

3.
Link Grade Books
·
Go to Link Gradebooks
·
Select a number for the classes you would like to link (not
zero) and make the number the same for the classes that should be linked

Add Assignment Types

Add Assignments (one month at a time if you can)***The more accurate you are with the start and due date

Go to Edit Assignments and click on Add

Go to Scores by class and begin entering grades
___1. Go to Reports: Assignments by Student
___2. Make Sure to Check "Page Break on Each Student"
___3. Click "Next"; If there is an assignment that you do not want the students to see hold down "Control" and click on the assignment with the mouse. Follow the same instructions if you only want to print a progress report for a specific student and not the whole class.
This is the best part of ABI!!! All you have to do is log in as you normally do.

1. Go to Email assignments
2. This is what your screen should look like. It says print everywhere, but it you do not have to print them!
3. From there, treat it like a normal progress report

How do I make sure parents don't see grades that have not been put in yet?
Make sure you only check the box for "Grading Completed" if you want parents to see the grade.
1) Open your browser
2) Type in the secure website in the address bar – https://secureabi.iusd.org
(Please note this website has an “s” after http denoting it is a secure website)
3) You will get the below message – Click OK

4) You must enter the username and password specific for your school.
5) This will bring you to the “Welcome to Aeries” log in page that you see
from school.
6) Enter your personal User Name and Password, select your school, then
Click Log In
7) You are now logged on to ABI.
