Sketchbook Assignment #3

FIRST DRAWING

            Create an illuminated capital letter like the samples below.  Do not copy the examples!

SECOND DRAWING

            Write a word using letters that visually create the meaning of that word.  For instance, the word “brick” can be built out of bricks or the word “fire” can be made to look like flames.  You may use color, but the shape and texture must convey the meaning.

EXTRA CREDIT

            Design a logo for yourself using your name.
