1.  Start, All Programs, Macromedia, Macromedia Flash 8, Create New, Flash Document.
     You will need Window, Toolbars, = Edit.
     You will need Window, = Tools, Turn Timeline OFF.

2.  File, Save As, "flatools", Save as type = "Flash 8 Document {*.fla}" "REPLACE".

3.  Modify, Document, 550 x 400, BG = yellow.

4.  Check the "Options" and "Properties" of each tool, as you use them.

5.  Using the Text Tool and 20 pts, add Name, Date, Period, Day #.

6.  Using the Line Tool, draw a star of 4 lines.

7.  Using the Pen Tool, draw a squiggle.

8.  Using the Oval Tool, draw two ovals, one must be a "Gradient" or "Rainbow".

9.  Using the Rectangle Tool, draw two rectangles, use solid colors for both.

10. Using the Pencil Tool (Check the "Options"), sign your first name.

11. Using the Brush Tool, draw a donut.

12. Using the Free Transform Tool, rotate your signature 45 degrees.

13. Using the Gradient Transform Tool, change the oval's gradient or rainbow.

14. Using the Ink Bottle Tool, change the other oval and the donut.

15. Using the Paint Bucket Tool, fill one rectangle with a rainbow and the other with a gradient.

16. Using the Eraser Tool, and take a bite out of the donut.

17. File, Save As, "flatools", Save as type = "Flash 8 Document {*.fla}".

18. Press Ctrl-Enter to play and save your flash movie.
