FLASH PATH ASSIGNMENT |

1. Start, All Programs, Macromedia, Macromedia Flash 8, Create New, Flash
Document.
You will need Window, Toolbars, = Edit.
You will need Window, = Tools, = Timeline.
2. File, Save As, "flapath", Save as type = "Flash 8 Document {*.fla}" "REPLACE".
3A. Modify, Document, 550 x 400, BG = light red or pink
3B. Add Name, Date, Period, Day #, using
the Text Tool and 20 pts.
3C. Click on Frame 24, click "Insert", "Timeline", "Frame"
3D. Click on "Insert", "Timeline", "Layer", Everything Else on
OTHER LAYERS !
4. On Frame 1, Layer 2, Draw an object to be used with a "Create Motion Tween"
5. Frame 1 is already a "Keyframe".
Click on Frame 24, then click "Insert",
"Timeline", "Keyframe"
6. On
Frame 1, click "Insert", "Timeline", "Create Motion Tween"
On
Frame 24, click "Insert", "Timeline", "Create Motion Tween"
7. On Frame 24, Use the Free Transform Tool to modify the final object
8. Click on "Insert", "Timeline", "Motion Guide", exactly "View", "Snapping", "Snap to Objects"
9. On Frame 1, of the "Guide" Layer, draw the desired path with the
Pen, Pencil, Line, Circle, Rectangle, or Brush
tool. There needs to
be a definite beginning and a definite ending. (Especially Pen, Line & Brush paths)

Rotate or Orient to Path))

"Break Apart"))))
10. On Frame 1 of Layer 2, Use Tools and/or arrows to Move the
Center Point
of your object to the starting point of
your path.
11. On Frame 24 of Layer 2, Use Tools and/or arrows
to Move the Center Point
of your object to the ending point of your
path.
12. Press Enter to preview your "Path Motion"
13. File, Save As, "flapath", Save as type = "Flash 8 Document {*.fla}"
14. Press Ctrl-Enter to play and save your flash movie.
