Jack Blob Assignment __________________ _ _-_ _-_ _

1. Surf to the "Figure
Assignment" page and click on
the "figure" you want to start
from,
"Save",
"H:\My
Documents\My Blobs\Blobs\Blue\jackblob.blob", "Close".
2. Make your Jack Blob by applying stickers and paint.
Be sure to paint all surfaces and/or sub-blobs !
3. Give an animation setting to each appendage.
A. Two Arms
B. Two Legs
C. Head
D. Torso
E. Other ...
4. Record your Jack Blob movie, save it out of media player as jackblob, close
5. Start, All Programs, Windows Movie Maker
6. File, Import into Collections, "jackblob"
7. Drag to timeline, magnify, take a picture at 00:00, "MY PICTURES", save
as "jackblob_0001",
Find the next frame needed with Alt+Right Arrow, take another picture,
save as "jackblob_0002"
Continue until all the needed frames have had their picture taken. File,
Exit, DO NOT SAVE !
8. Start, All Programs, Macromedia, Macromedia Fireworks 8
Choose "File", "Open", Add Check in box marked "Open as Animation",
"My Pictures",
click on jackblob_0001, hold down shift and click on your last jackblob_####,
"Open"
Choose "File", "My Documents", "Save as", "jackblob" (.png)
9. In the "Frames and History" area, set the properites so that
all frames have Frame Delay to be "20", and "check on" Include When
Exporting, "Enter"
10. Modify, Canvas, Trim
11. File, Export Wizard, Continue, Animated Gif, Continue, Options, "256"
(colors), Matte =
,
Index Transparency, Export, "jackblob", Images Only, My Documents, Export
!
12. Add jackblob.gif to blobs2.htm, Add a link on blobs2.htm: "Jack Blob" to
"jackblob.avi".
