Welcome to Rancho! This year I am teaching all eighth graders-Advisement and Introduction to Algebra. We are looking forward to great things in our classes-- mathematical projects, analytical thinking, and learning skills that will help you navigate through the world you live in now and will enjoy in the future. I'll be sending home information about each of these classes. Your math skills will be evaluated at the beginning of the year, and we will send home an analysis of areas you need to strengthen in order to assure success with eighth grade topics. 

Advisement will begin each day with school information and a smile and an activity for the day.

I'm looking forward to spending some quality time together this year as your teacher. I've printed a picture of my son Mitch graduating as a reminder of the excitement that awaits you at the end of the next 5 years.  Below is a picture of my sweet old dog Bear.  Can you teach an old dog new math tricks?
