UTOPIA: Your Presentation Requirements

Parameters:

• It can not exceed 10 minutes (that is allowing 2-5 minutes of questions)
• You will be required to show your maps, graphs or charts of your government structure, and a pictorial of your countries resources.  These can be attached to a poster board in order to place them on the assigned afterwards.
• You will have to turn in full written documents in a nice folder (as if you were presenting a business proposal):
  • Declaration of Intent
  • Bill of Rights or Laws
  • State of the Utopia: Our Economic Status
  • Resources and Industry Report
  • Environmental Impact Study
  • Defense System for your Utopia
• For your presentation you should be able to summarize from the above list of documents the most important elements. 
• All members in your founding members group will participate in the presentation to the class.

Talking points:

1. Divide the presentation up amongst members in the group and make sure they have a readable copy of their own.  (Hint: you can number the speeches so that everyone goes in the proper order.)
2. Summarize why your group decided to form this utopia ( you may read a short passage from your Declaration)
3. You should refer to the wall and the map, flag, etc that epitomizes your country and its resources.
4. Discuss briefly the following and be able to answer at least the following questions:
   1. Energy: how do you get this and why use this source?
   2. Economics: what is your currency (if any), how are people paid, find shelter and get food.
   3. Resources and industry:
   4. Environment
5. If your team has received a special bonus card, you can present your Utopia in a power point.  Be sure to discuss only the talking points.  You can not exceed you time limit.
