Ancient China has left behind many lasting contributions that have benefited the world. Their government created a system of fair and balanced rule as well as the means to establishing a stable and growing economy. Chinese innovations in public works projects are seen in the Great Wall, for example. The multitude of inventions by the Ancient Chinese, such as the compass and printing press, are used today.
