Build Your Own Utopia

Objective of this lesson: Students will be using documents and a novel (Magna Carta, More's Utopia, Bill of Rights and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury), which they have read this year, to create a utopia of their own. 

Steps to Utopia: Students will form groups of their choosing; read and research; and create laws, infrastructure, economy and bureaucracy for their "perfect world."  On the final day, each group will present all their information to the class.
