11/13 Substitute- Thank you to all the students who were on task while there was a substitute this day. 
11/14 OBJECTIVE: 
Discuss yesterday's happenings for a warm-up; assess knowledge of Visions story (or group) comprehension; read & interpret charts; identify the Native Americans as the first people in the Americas.

HOMEWORK:
 ALL Groups-
1. Bring a book for SSR
2. Complete worksheet "The First Americans" & "Showing What I Know (US Map)"
3. Read a book of your choice for 30 minutes
11/15 OBJECTIVE:
Identify true or false statements regarding geography terms; check and review Access American History, "The First Americans" work; brainstorm ideas for a skit; create a skit using WBW vocabulary.

HOMEWORK:
 ALL Groups-
1. Work on WBW skit.  It does not need to be complete however you must have all your ideas ready!
2. Lesson Summary pg. 11 (US Map), What did you learn?
3. Bring a book for SSR (We did not read silently in class today, but tomorrow we will!)

11/16 OBJECTIVE:
Identify the 7 continents and 4 oceans; re-read Access History pgs. (18-23) "The First Americans;" ask/answer questions to check reading comprehension; create a skit using WBW vocabulary; read silently; play Thanksgiving Jingo.

HOMEWORK:
 ALL Groups-
1. Memorize your WBW skit lines
2. Study KEY geography vocabulary
3. Study your level US Geography Dictation Sentences
